Description: In this artist residency, students at Lincoln Elementary write and perform a musical narrative about the rainforest. Each class is assigned a specific element of the tropical rainforest to research, and must include this information in their final presentation.
Special emphasis is on the importance of rainforest habitats to the global ecosystem, as well as the threats they face today. In the final performance, all classes will join together to perform their various pieces as an ensemble.
