ThisWorldMusic’s Jeremy Cohen held a dynamic three-day workshop at UMass. The students were lavish in their praise of his knowledge, musicianship and energy.”

Semester Courses

For schools interested in a more in-depth experience for students, we can work collaboratively to create a semester-long African drumming ensemble and lecture course for credit, including:

  • curriculum design, development and implementation
  • ensemble recruitment and auditions
  • detailed assessment rubrics
  • instrument procurement
  • concert programming and campus community events

Clients include: Westfield State University; Worcester Polytechnic Institute; and Worcester State University.

In addition to our award-winning open-enrollment study abroad program in the African nation of Ghana, we offer exclusive school programs in Africa for both faculty and students.
