This is the 4th installment in our Great Grooves series. Use the interactive drumming mixer below to hear what all six ensemble accompaniment parts sound like in the present-day Agbeli family arrangement of the fast section of the Ewe war dance Atsiagbekor (commonly referred to as Agbekor).
Isolate different rhythmic parts and create original mixes by adjusting instrument levels — including soloing, muting and panning individual tracks. All instruments are played by Jeremy Cohen.
