This Sunday I’ll be donning my bib and ear plugs (I’m a drummer — doctor’s orders) and heading over to Paradise Rock Club in Boston for Eat Your Heart Out 2010, a one-of-a-kind event that pairs the mouth-watering creations of local star chefs with the fine whines of top-flight Boston bands.

Emceed by Yankee Food Magazine Editress Annie B. Kopps, this year’s EYHO will feature the cooking stylings of Chef Tim Wiechmann of T.W. Food in Cambridge and the rockage of Magic Magic, You Can Be A Wesley, and Brenda.  High brow + low brow = NO BROW.

As if all that synesthetic pleasure wasn’t enough to make you wish it were Sunday already, this event also happens to be a fundraiser for two terrific local non-profits: Future Chefs (food-related) and ZUMIX (music-related).  Future Chefs is a Root Cause 2011 Social Innovation Forum finalist and ZUMIX is the amazing community music center in East Boston that I’ve worked with for the past few years.  In other words, you should come! Unless, of course, you hate music and eating and having fun AND helping out worthy causes.
